Richard J. Hong, D.M.D.

Dr. Richard Hong is a native Northern Virginian and grew up in McLean, Virginia. After graduating from Langley High School, he attended the Johns Hopkins University for his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. Then Dr. Hong went on to receive his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating dental school, he was accepted into Harvard University’s General Practice Residency Program, providing dental care to medically compromised patients at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Hong is passionate about providing the best dental care to all of his patients. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Northern Virginia Dental Society and the Virginia Dental Association.  Dr. Hong attends many seminars throughout the year to stay abreast with the latest dental technology. Dr. Hong offers Invisalign® clear braces and LUMINEERS® porcelain veneers, and is adept in all aspects of dentistry, including but not limited to root canal therapy, implants, crowns and bridges, dentures, pediatric dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Hong used to be a daily cartoonist for a newspaper and continues to create cartoons as a hobby. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, who is a pediatrician, and his two children.
